As demand for Imaging Solutions grows, Hiphen continues to add new skill sets to its team.
Meet the latest addition to the team: Martin Girardey – R&D Engineer & Image Processing Specialist
Martin is studying image processing in the SICOM program at the engineering school of Grenoble INP ENSE3. He joined Hiphen on a 6 month internship/apprenticeship to hone his computer science skills on a wide range of real world agricultural image analysis problems.
He is currently part of the R&D team and participates in internal projects aimed at improving the internal process and developing new tools that facilitate high-throughput image processing. His background in computer science and his participation in various projects during his studies have helped him to understand the tasks entrusted to him at Hiphen.

"I chose Hiphen because as a small tight organization, the teams are very close to each other, and their field of expertise developed in agronomy corresponded to my future ambitions. Moreover, I just came back from a voluntary trip to Nepal to improve the management of waste linked to tourism in the Everest Valley. This project pushed me to find out more about the companies' fields of expertise so that they corresponded to my values, and this is why I’ve chose Hiphen. I received a very warm and inclusive welcome, which made me feel as comfortable as possible. I didn't know what to expect from my assignments, but I like the fact that I can adapt to emergencies and the changing needs of the clients Hiphen helps achieve their imaging ambitions. There is never a dull moment and no 2 days are the same at Hiphen"
