Meet the latest addition to the team: Rawaa Aloui – Imaging Solutions Specialist
Rawaa is from Tunisia, where she obtained a degree in rural engineering from the National Agronomic Institute of Tunisia. She is currently pursuing a degree in agricultural engineering at Institut Montpellier SupAgro, with a specialization in sustainable management of natural resources and a background in data management of environmental projects. She has joined @Hiphen on a 4 month internship as part of her scholarship.
Within the project management team, her role is to evaluate and test analytical tools for phenomic prediction in order meet customer requirements. Her daily routine include evaluating existing tools, designing and developing new tools, testing developed tools, and documenting results to communicate conclusions to the team. The main driver of her internship is to ensure continuous improvement in phenomic prediction performance.
"I am passionate about biology and genetics, and I believe that phenomics prediction is a key area to help solve the challenges of the 21st century ahriculture. The skills I acquired in my previous jobs in data collection and processing, statistical analysis, and modeling will be very useful for my new role at Hiphen.
