HIPHEN TEAM EXPANDING TO MEET INCREASED DEMAND FOR IMAGING SOLUTIONS
As demand for Imaging Solutions grows, Hiphen continues to add new skill sets to its team.
Meet the latest addition to the team: Marc Labadie, PhD – Imaging Solutions Specialist
Marc brings more agronomic and plant pathology to the team. His graduate work at INRAE and post-doc at CIRAD revolved around IPM, pre-breeding strategies, and developing analytical tools for strawberries and other fruit and veg crops.
His work as an Imaging Solutions Specialist involves helping researchers achieve their phenotyping ambitions by helping clients expand their research objectives with image analytics. He will help identify traits of value and how to implement an image acquisition strategy that feed images into the Hiphen analytical machinery and help process those images and convert them into novel data sets.
“My previous missions allow me to better understand the customers' expectations and to identify and implement appropriate solutions according to the project objectives. My experiences in agronomy but also in computer science allows me to be the link between Hiphen's computer science team, agronomic engineers, and the customers.“
