Plant cover refers to the surface of plant pixels within the plot, including green pixels and yellow/brown pixels that might be related to senescence or disease symptoms. It is expressed as a percentage of all plot pixels. It is a good proxy of the vegetation development and the capacity of the plant to cover the ground. Plant cover excludes weeds.
